Representational techniques: Assignment 2

Final symbol:
My initial final symbol was commented that it might be mistaken for a thumb. Therefore, I changed the shape into more defined edges. The 4) image was chosen for abstraction.
Ok... and now let me present to you my first attempt of tracing out the five abstraction symbols. Haha you see... i have photoshop version 7 in my computer. So I decided that I should explore this version and if it works!!! meansss i can do all my stuff at home... that would be like so much more convenient and I can spent more time improving my designs...
First attempt:
As you can see if you enlarge it... the pixels were really bad... basically the way i did this on photoshop was using one of the filter effects to darken my sketch making the lines appear darker. And obviously, the thickness of the lines varied. Arggg!!! was super unhappy about it... So my next attempt...

HAHA!! and so this attempt... I was contented finally.... used pen to slowly trace them ... and the lines.... are like so much more defined!!!! YEAH!
Sentiments:
Improved my tracing on photoshop. Learned the gist of symbols whereby you need not draw the whole thing out but if it was crop off in a way which the object is still identifiable. The symbol is a success.
